• At a few miles west of La Ceiba and halfway to the airport, this small hotel, which attracts a mostly international crowd, feels more out-of-the-way than it actually is. If you don't have a car or intend to move around a lot, staying here might be an issue, though they do offer free pickups and drop-offs. Pine wood walls and tile floors make the large rooms lean toward the rustic; however, they do have everything you could ask for, like a minifridge, air-conditioning, and purified water dispensers. Their Iguana Bar and Restaurant in a beachfront champa is one of the better dining options in the area. All-inclusive packages are available as well.
