Description:

  • At the beginning of the 20th century, Reverend Henry A. McKinney built this house in southern San Diego County. Reverend McKinney was a Methodist minister as well as a pioneer in the early La Mesa community. This house has been restored and highlights furniture, clothing, books and other artifacts from the early 1900s and (most notably) the La Mesa Historical Society. Tours of the house are available every Saturday or by appointment. There is no cost for the tour.
