Description:
From the lower points of La Paz, you may have noticed that, in the near distance, there is a large hill with a funky blue tower on top of it. This is the Mirador Laikakota, a good lookout point, offering a 360-degree view of La Paz. The Mirador isn't simply a mirador (view point) -- it's also a very large children's park with rides, playgrounds, and food stands. To enjoy the best views, walk past all the playgrounds to the far end of the park. This is a good spot for a photo of the mighty snow-covered Illimani.
