There is really no vaccination required when coming to Nigeria especially Lagos. However, you have to avoid staying where mosquitoes are to avoid contacting malaria and watch what you drink, most importantly drink bottled water!

Dear Olushola, Please do not try to lead people astray, that is the basic REQUIREMENT coming to Nigeria, is Lagos not part of Nigeria? Have you ever checked or inquired from the immigration and health officer what vaccinations are needed? try and make your research proper. Thanks

There aren't really any known vaccinations required as pre-requisites for coming into Nigeria. The only health caution is against malaria and Doctors wld advise u to take an anti-malarial 2Weeks before your visit to help your immunity. And a dose of the sunday pill called diaprim wld go a long way to keep a visitor protected

Before travel, be sure you and your children are up to date on all routine immunizations according to schedules approved by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice and If it is less than weeks before you leave, you should still see your doctor. It might not be too late to get your shots or medications as well as other information about how to protect yourself from illness and injury while traveling to your kind of destination ..I think they knows best.

Nigeria is a very healthy country. Dont mind wat u hear on CNN and fox news. if u are coming to nigeria, u only need to beware of mosquitoes which can cause malaria. and u will agree that nigeria is not the only country where u see mosquitoes. so u are safe.
