Description:

  • Sawdust's annual summer show has been a fixture of Laguna Beach for more than 40 years. It is home to the best in arts and crafts that the city and its residents have to offer. There are hundreds of booths set up with art from every discipline- painting, ceramics, clothing, jewelry and more. The ground is covered in sawdust, hence the name. For entertainment there is live music, magicians, jugglers, belly dancers and more. There are outdoor cafes and a saloon. People from all over southern California make a point of attending this month-long festival every year to pick up a slew of unique and handcrafted items that they won't find anywhere else. Festival patrons can interact with artists as they demonstrate the craft of glass-blowing and even create their own art at the complimentary art projects, open to adults and kids alike. Feel free to talk with the artists personally and even buy some of their work directly. Admission: Adult USD7, Senior USD6, Children USD3. Visit website for info on season passes and special events.
