• The Shack is a local hangout - and not just for the young, as earlier in the evenings locals from all over the country stop by for a drink, their favorite athletic event on the televisions and some catch up. Drink specials make the bar crowded on the weekends (Thursday through Sunday), but weekly the bar fills up thanks to its two pool tables, outside patio with fire pit and casual atmosphere. If you have lived in San Diego for more than a year, chances are you're bound to run into someone at one point or another at The Shack.
