Formerly of some seriously prestigious local Italian staples, La Jolla's Bistro Pazzo is no different than George's at the Cove or Azul's - except for the prize. Based on Ivanhoe, this small Italian flavored restaurant featured traditional and eccentric entrees that have been perfected over the years. Seto's affable personality greets guests like long time friends, while dishes make Italians out of everyone. Daily deals offer great prices and specials, like 1/2 off wine Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or the "Sunset Special" which gives a three course meal for under $15. The signature item isn't actually on the menu - the warmed ciabatta bread and garlic dip placed on your table with every entree welcomes flavors you might have never known.
