It also hopes to enrich the cultural understanding of not only the UCSD campus but also of the local community. Many works from artists who have designed works for period specific collections from the 1970's can be found here. You will find artists like Jenny Holzer, Robert Irwin, John Baldessari, Bruce Nauman and Alexis Smith amongst many other.
