The wood-burning fireplace, made of Truckee river rock, is the first thing you will notice upon entering. All guest rooms are very spacious and have their own balcony and private bath. A full breakfast including a hot entree, homemade breads, assorted cereals, juices, fruit, coffee and tea is served. Be sure to ask your host to show you the historic ice house. It dates back to the 1930s and has two-foot thick walls.
