• This little coffee shop in Tahoe City is a good place to stop for some espresso, a chair latte or a breakfast sandwich. They sell good cups of regular coffee as well as specialty coffees. Their sandwiches include items such as the Mama Mia with cream cheese, tomatoes and olives . They also offer pastries, bagels from Truckee Bagel and some lunch specials like sandwiches. Syd's is also a cozy place to curl with your computer for a while, they do have some sketchy wifi for free. The back of the building has a view of the lake.
