  • Description:

    • Eagle Rock is the neck of an eroded volcanic plug and the terrain is like the moon. This easy hike are short, but steep. It's around 1/2 a mile and will take about half an hour, but the incline is a challenge and you can even practice some of your bouldering techniques. The view is a 360 degree view of the Sierra and Lake Tahoe. The trail starts off the road from Lake Tahoe between Mile Marker 67 and 68.
