Description:
- McGuire Trail is an easy 3 and 7/8ths mile long trail at an elevation of 5,290 feet. The trail winds through timber and follows the north shore of French Meadows Reservoir, climbing moderately to the top of Red Star Ridge. This trail gets a moderate amount of use. McGuire Trail is a segment of the Western States Trail.
This short trail offers scenic views of the French Meadows area and is easy enough to be enjoyed by the entire family.
