Description:
- The Molybdenite Creek trail follows the creek up to its junction with McMillan Creek. A short spur trail will take you to McMillan Lake. The hike starts out with a gradual climb and is full of aspens and pines. The trail is well marked and easy to follow. After the first few miles the trail opens out into a sage field dotted with trees. When you reach the McMillan Lake sign, stay left and start the climb up to the lake. The climb is steep, but short (about 500 yards). The lake is nice and there is room to wander all the way around it though no established trail exists.
