- These superior mountain trails are for expert and intermediate bikers only. Your trip starts with a cable car ride for you and your bike to the top of the mountain where the magic begins. Bike trails, from moderate to extreme, will take you to all parts of the mountain on single and double track trails. Some roads go for miles through various terrain. The Mountain Run gives you a super-fast, winding 2,000-foot descent; definitely for advanced riders. Helmets are required. Mountain bikes and other equipment rentals are available at Squaw Valley Sports.
