- Built in the late 1980's, the Grand Lacuna is rated as one of the top golf courses in Florida, and this is no small feat considering that the state has more than 1250 golf courses! Although it has a membership scheme, it is possible for visitors to pay as they play, with seasonal memberships being offered to attract amateurs. An 18 hole course with views of spectacular sunsets while you play, the course definitely has its share of regular golfers. The country club manages to keep the family occupied with its pool tables, dart boards, TVs screening live matches and a restaurant which serves up some delectable pasta and prime ribs.
