Description:

  • A midsize mountain, it offers a complete ski or snowboard experience, including a well maintained and challenging snowboarding park with a maze of slides, hits, banks and other obstacles. The resort also offers great cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

    Sierra Summit offers opportunities for downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

    Sierra Summit is located on Highway 168, 65 miles north of Fresno at Huntington Lake in the Sierra National Forest.

    From the South:
    Exit Highway 99 at the Kingsburg/Sanger exit (Huntington Lake) and follow the signs to Highway 168 and Huntington Lake.

    or, take Highway 99 north to Highway 41 east (in Fresno) to Highway 180 east (toward Sequoia National Park) to Highway 168 east (toward Huntington Lake, approximately 1 1/2 miles to the exit).

    From the North:
    Exit Highway 99 in Madera at the Millerton Lake exit (Highway 145 east). Follow Highway 145 to the town of Friant and past Millerton Lake to Auberry Road (east) and then to Highway 168 to Huntington Lake. Sierra Summit is located at the end of Highway 168.
