Right there in the middle of the Fremont Street Experience, Glitter Gulch is either an eyesore or the last bastion of Old Las Vegas, depending on your point of view. One of the most venerable strip clubs in town, it has undergone a $3.5-million renovation, which just shows you what kind of money there is in nearly nekkid girls. Gone are the old burlesque gaudy trappings and fixtures, and in their place is an interior that rivals some of the midlevel Strip ultra-lounges. It's still a little cramped and naturally dark. The location is the most convenient of all of the strip clubs -- right on Fremont Street -- but it's also the most conspicuous -- given that you have to exit right on Fremont Street. Not so good for the bashful or discrete. Still, it means customers include groups of women and even a 90-year-old couple. Given its convenient location, this is the perfect place for the merely curious -- you can easily pop in, check things out, goggle and ogle, and then hit the road. Table dances are $35. Open daily 1pm to 4am.
