• This one-time classically elegant nudie bar -- you know, red flocked wallpaper and the like -- became pretty rundown over the years, as places like that generally do. Even the offer of total nudity was not quite enough to lure visitors to this seedy part of town. The owners then came up with an ingenious makeover. In addition to updating the downstairs (gone, sadly, is the aforementioned vintage look in favor of a flashy runway, neon, flatscreen TVs, and other modern gizmos; it's new, but it's also generic), they had the inspiration to introduce male stripping -- yes, still totally nude -- upstairs on the weekends. This something-for-everyone equality approach results in a bustling crowd, packed with women, with an atmosphere that can be a little intense rather than bachelorette ribald. Expect a largely urban crowd and a lot of couples. And in case you wondered, the guys do lap dances too. Topless lap dances are $20, totally nude dances are $40. Open daily 4pm to 5am.
