Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located on the far west edge of the Las Vegas, and visitors who would like to stay close to Red Rock can chose from both neighborhood hotel casinos and brand-name, non-gaming chain hotels.
Whether you're in Las Vegas for business or pleasure, the Red Rock Resort gives visitors a taste of the Strip in the suburbs of town. It's got the full array of resort amenities, but without the crowds of the Las Vegas Strip. The Suncoast is also near Red Rock, offering guests reasonably-priced accommodations. The JW Marriott does not have a casino, but is located on the same grounds as the Rampart Casino, so guests can still hit the tables.
Las Vegas visitors who want to stay close to Red Rock Canyon may not want all the bells and whistles of a big Vegas casino, and here in the suburbs they can find a selection of name-brand hotels like La Quinta and Westin. You won't find any neon at these hotels, but you will find things like kitchens and long-term pricing.
If you don't mind a bit of a drive, you can always choose a Vegas classic. Staying at the Golden Nugget won't put you on Red Rock's doorstep, but a twenty or thirty minute drive will still take you to its sandstone cliffs. From any downtown casino, visitors can simply drive west on Charleston Boulevard until they are at the Red Rock NCA.
