Paradise & Airport Area - Las Vegas Hotels

  • The Best of NileGuide
  • The Paradise Road/Airport area in Las Vegas is home to a large number of business travel, non-gaming, name-brand hotels. These quiet chain hotels, many of which come with kitchenettes, are often geared toward business travelers and may be a good choice for families. They're also more likely to accept pets than Strip hotels. However, if you're looking for more typical Vegas-style accommodations in this area, you have a couple of options.

The Hard Rock Hotel Casino isn't on the Strip, but that hasn't stopped it from being one of the city's hippest hangouts. A season of MTV's "Real World" was filmed here, and their Rehab Pool Party is one of Vegas' coolest pool scenes. Rock 'n roll memorabilia decorates the Hard Rock, which is also home to trendy restaurants and music venues.

Don't judge Terrible's by its name. The Las Vegas-based company specializes in locals-style hotel casinos, which means that they're value-oriented. Rooms here are basic, but the price reflects that, and guests can still enjoy the casino and cheap eats in the restaurants.

Rumor Boutique Hotel, across the street from the Hard Rock, was recently remodeled and transformed from the St. Tropez to Rumor. The goal was to create something new in Las Vegas-a boutique hotel, all suites, with an exclusive, intimate atmosphere. This is a non-gaming property, but the Hard Rock is a short walk away.

Several brand-name hotels are in this neighborhood, in particular in the Hughes Center, which has a selection of chain restaurants and a 24-hour Kinko's with a FedEx.
