NileGuide Expert tip:
Nine Fine Irishmen inside the New York-New York is one of Las Vegas's most popular Irish pubs.
Description:
- New York-New York Las Vegas combines all of New York City's signature landmarks into one hotel casino: the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge. To add a distinctive Vegas touch, there's a roller coaster that encircles the property. The interior is also inspired by the Big Apple with a generous dose of Art Deco style, a faux Greenwich Village, and strategically placed graffiti. Were it not for the casino, you could (almost) imagine you were thousands of miles east of Las Vegas in NYC.
NY-NY's rooms are continuously being updated, but remain moderately priced. The hotel offers three standard room layouts, four styles of suites, and penthouses. Guests won't find anything elaborate or fancy in the standard rooms, but they will find reasonable, budget-friendly rates. The roller coaster is too noisy for some guests, so light sleepers will want to take this into consideration. A resort fee covers room and resort incidentals like Web TV, phone calls, and other miscellaneous extras.
The property has several restaurants and bars, a spa, an arcade, and shows, which include Cirque du Soleil's sexy show, Zumanity. This is not a kid-appropriate Cirque show.
Located on the south Strip, NY-NY is close to the Excalibur, Tropicana, MGM Grand, and Monte Carlo. Visitors who don't mind walking will find plenty to do within easy walking distance. - © NileGuide2012

They charge a resort fee in Vegas when others don't, so don't fall for the Lo price bait and switch. Shops and snacks prices are over inflated. Machines are tight and don't...

Message from New York-New York Hotel & Casino
New York-New York Hotel and Casino's innovative facades re-create the classic Manhattan skyline, complete with 12 New York-style skyscrapers that house 2,024 guest rooms. These interconnected structures are approximately one-third the actual size of New York City architecture. The tallest building replicates the Empire State Building at 529 feet, 47 stories. Other icons include a 150-foot replica of the Statue of Liberty; a Coney Island-style roller coaster, a 300-foot long replica of the Brooklyn Bridge; and a replica of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. Unlike any other Las Vegas property, this themed hotel and full service casino re-creates the ambience and excitement of the Big Apple. The uncanny realism of the New York theme provides pizzazz, color and energy to the property's larger-than-life 84,000-sq.-foot casino.
