- Cuisines: American, Barbecue
NileGuide Expert tip:
If you're looking for barbecue close to the Strip, try their Warm Springs location.
Description:
- Memphis Championship Barbecue has three locations in Las Vegas, which is a reflection of their popularity. Their Tennessee-style cooking includes all the traditional barbecue items you'd expect: ribs, brisket, chicken, and links. You'll also find smoked turkey, steaks, chili, and catfish. Choose from sides like fried okra, macaroni and cheese, and red beans and rice.
This is a family-friendly restaurant with reasonable prices—dinner entrees, which come with two sides, range from $12 for the smoked turkey to $21 for the rib-eye steak. Hamburgers are $8 to $10, but also come with two sides. Kids' menus (for those under 12 years old) come with three pages of pictures to color and puzzles to solve.
On Saturday and Sunday, breakfast is served at their locations on Warm Springs and Rainbow. Their Southern-style country breakfasts include every kind of meat and eggs (even ribs and eggs), a big selection of omelets and scrambles, and their Blue Ribbon Bloody Mary.
Memphis Championship Barbecue has two other locations: one at 2250 East Warm Springs Road, and one at 4379 North Las Vegas Boulevard, which is close to Nellis Air Force Base. - © NileGuide2012
