On Saturdays, the crowds line up for the semolina, cheese breads and many Italian desserts. Everything here is made from scratch, from the bread on the table to the sauce on the pizza. The pizza fresca is made with fresh marinara sauce and fresh mozzarella (also made in-house.) Other winners include an antipasto salad and cavatelli with sauteed broccoli rabe. My parents grew up in the Marina and they have been linked to here for years. You walk in the front door and you just get enveloped in the smell of the Italian food waiting inside....
