Schoop's Hamburgers

• Schoop's hamburgers started life in 1948 in Hammond, Indiana, serving giant, crispy hamburgers and other classic items like chili fries and shakes. Soon the stand became a chain, and now there's a Schoop's franchise in Las Vegas. Situated by a gas station at first, Las Vegas' Schoop's is now attached to the Antique Mall of America, but it still serves the same reliably good food the first store served in 1948 (though a little more expensive). Stop by and eat a double burger before perusing all the antiques with a milkshake in hand, but just make sure you don't spill any.
