Bootleg Canyon Mountain Bike Park

Description:

• Mountain biking enthusiasts from all over the world travel to Bootleg Canyon to ride these challenging desert trails. One trail has won the coveted "Epic Ride" designation from the International Mountain Bike Association, a title given to only 18 trails. Thirty-five miles of interconnected trails traverse Bootleg Canyon, and riders can choose the length and difficulty of the trail they want to tackle.  Maps are available on their website, or at bike shops in the area. The park is open year-round, but summer temperatures can be brutal. Night riding is permitted, however, which is one way to beat the heat.
