  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Just a few blocks west of the Strip; Sands Avenue turns into Spring Mountain Road past Las Vegas Boulevard.

  • Description:

    • Las Vegas has the only master planned Chinatown built on a strip mall. Chinatown Plaza is one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Las Vegas and one of the only places that touts a particular ethnicity. The Plaza boasts many Asian arts and crafts shops, gift stores, a bakery, a Chinese herb shop, a jade store and a plant store where you can get a lucky money tree. Signs placed throughout the area contain factual information about Chinese art and history, so it's a good place to learn a few things in passing. The food is the best reason to visit this attraction, though. You may sample Filipino, Korean, Japanese or Vietnamese specialties in addition to the traditional Chinese fare. Come on down and try a cold Taiwanese boba tea, some pho noodle soup or some fresh sushi!
