- A motorcoach will take you out of Las Vegas and on your way to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. First in line is the Hoover Dam, the highest and third largest concrete dam in the United States, which created the neighboring Lake Mead, the largest-man made lake in the United States. At Grand Canyon West you will find an Indian Village, a cultural exhibit showing the ways of life and architecture of the Southwest and Great Plains Indian Tribes. The Skywalk takes you on a walk on glass, over the rim of the Canyon to look at the 4,000 foot drop below your feet. It's something you have to pay to see. Next you hop aboard a helicopter and fly 4,000 feet down to the bottom. Your next move is over to a flat bottom riverboat and leisurely cruise along the Colorado River. After you dock, fly back up to the top of the Canyon and enjoy the view with lunch on the edge.
