• Though packed between Las Vegas and the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, the road between the two has more than its share of things to see. From man-made marvels, like the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, to the natural beauty of the land, on display in the Joshua Tree Forest, there's very little to ignore. Once you reach West Rim, Hualapai Indians will greet you and provide a guided tour, showing the history of the land in Indian Village, and presenting a daring view of the Canyon with the Skywalk. The Sky Walk is a U-shaped glass bridge that juts out 70 feet beyond the rim of the Canyon. Purchasing a ticket will let you walk beyond the rim, around a floor of glass, to look at the Canyon floor and the Colorado River 4,000 feet below. Just before your journey back to Vegas, the Skywalk Café gives you a meal with a view: a complimentary lunch on the edge of the Canyon. Take in one last look of the natural wonder's natural beauty to remember on the ride home.
