- You can play here if you know somebody who knows somebody. This private course allows guests invited by members to use the greens. Once you see the place, you will have to agree it is well worthwhile to cultivate an association with members whether you like them or not! The impeccably groomed greens are fast, fast, fast. Slopes, sand and water hazards present the best golfers a challenge, especially on hole #17. None of it was too much for Tiger Woods; he won his first PGA tournament here in 1995. This venue hosts the annual Invensys Golf Classic.
