Volcano At The Mirage - Las Vegas

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Arrive early to get the best viewing spot. A fun, free, family-friendly activity on the Strip.

  • Description:

    • In 1989, the Mirage ushered in a new era of free, curb-side shows with its volcano. Today, the volcano is still wowing crowds with hourly eruptions that shoot fireballs into the sky and pour "lava" over the sides into the lagoon below. Music accompanies the eruptions since the volcano's redesign. If you're standing close enough to the volcano on the hotel side, you'll feel the heat from the eruption. It's debatable where to stand to get the best view, but wherever you wind up, you'll be sure to see the show.
