- Providing an insight into the history and customs of the African American culture, this collection is designed to enhance pride in heritage and appreciation of others. Included in this exhibit are more than 10,000 items, with historical artifacts such as artwork, books, personal records, ethnic dolls and figurines. A gift shop is available where visitors may purchase items from art to fashion apparel. Local cultural event listings are provided by the center.
