    • Wonderful collection of European art in an unusual building with a charming courtyard (see photo). The food in the cafe is good. Isabella Stuart Gardener was the grande dame of the Boston arts scene in the 19th century and the museum is still pretty much as she left it-- as required by her will. The museum gets fewer tourists than the Museum of Fine Arts which is just 10 minutes walking distance from the Gardener.
