Nongmin Yule Luguan (Tibetan Farmer's Adventure Hotel)

• A 5-minute walk east of the main intersection on the north side of the highway, this Tibetan-run place is fly-infested and a little grubby, but still manages to offer a decent atmosphere. Set around a sunny courtyard, this hotel offers your last shot at a warm shower if you are bound for the Kailash region. The restaurant serves decent yak-fried noodles and other simple dishes.
