Description:
- The founding of this impressive theater dates back to the colonial era, but the building itself was constructed in the 18th century. It boasts two auditoriums: "Segura", which houses 800 people; and "Alzedo", which seats 300. Segura has an annual program featuring theater and dance festivals. September is a good time to enjoy opera, ballet and spectacles of modern dance staged by independent production companies. The program ends in February and begins again in May.
