Lima city has grown significantly during the last 10 years, and that also means that new fun spots open every month, widening the offer for the nightlife.
If you are in the mood of experiencing some of the trendiest upscale bars in this cosmopolitan city, we have a few suggestions by the moment.
Since you are a foreign visitor, our first choice would be El Tayta, a centric, cozy and very tourist friendly fun spot, right in the middle of Miraflores and close to everything: other recommendable place in Miraflores is Bartini, located in Larcomar Shopping Center, classy and elegant, with a top selection of liquors and drinks.
Not exactly in Miraflores, but very close, in Barranco, you will find Huaringas, run by the same owners of the famous restaurant Brujas de Cachiche, and famous among locals and tourists due to its excellent version of Pisco Sour, the national drink; Lola Bar is also a good place, that usually offers good music too.
In San Isidro, you will also find Spa Lounge, perfect for spending some time before heading to a party somewhere else, and a and a few blocks away there's the very elegant Olé Bar, right beside T'anta restaurant, very close to the beautiful Parque El Olivar (Olivar Park).
News Cafe is actually a cafe, as the name indicates, but it has an excellent bar area, and the music (when on) is not too loud. Good meals, also.
