Lima has for sure many cool options for those adventurous spirits who want to try something different and to have fun. Open your mind and Lima surprise you.
Lima offers many chances for different and funny activities that everyone will enjoy (and will for sure make great photos!). Here's a short list of our recommendations.
First, the ones that you can do during a visit to Lima's Downtown: First of all, the beautiful and big convent and temple of San Francisco; next, a walk by the Plaza Mayor, full of historic buildings and monuments; then a ride to the Cerro San Cristóbal, from where you will get a privileged, unforgettable panoramic view of the whole city, including sea and ships if the weather is good enough.
Once you are back, recharge your batteries with a a delicious supper at any of the Chinese-Peruvian restaurants in the "Barrio Chino", the local China Town, a few blocks away from the Plaza Mayor.
Then, you can go back to the Plaza Mayor and wind down a little while enjoying a relaxing ride on the Calesas Clásicas, before heading to the Magic Water Circuit; you will need to take a taxi, which will charge you something between 6 and 8 soles to take you there.
You cannot miss visiting the Museo Larco and its famous Erotic Pottery Hall.
Outside Downtown, try a ride in the Mirabus, at the Kennedy Park (in Miraflores) and a walk by Barranco, the Bohemian district, and of course, having fun at any of Lima beaches. And it's better if you go with a group of friends.
