Sometimes you want to eat, but also you want to have fun. Either you want to enjoy a show, a place to dine and dance or just a nice conversation while kicking back, fun restaurants of Lima will for sure fulfill your needs and even provide you with some nice surprises.
Lima and its people love fun. Peruvians love food, too, so many of the local restaurants comprise good food and excellent choices for fun: whatever your idea of fun is (either you love music, dancing, good drinks, pool tables, gambling, etc.) you will for sure find a place in Lima that offers exactly what you are seeking for.
Some of our suggestions around Miraflores and Barranco would be La Dama Juana, in a classy shopping mall; Jazz Zone, that always has local jazz musicians performing; Rustica, in the heart of Barranco, in the middle of the bohemian nightlife; De Rompe y Raja and Del Carajo, both of them located in Barranco and offering superb creole music live shows; Costa Verde, more appropiate for those in the mood of dancing, and La Rosa Nautica, where you may meet some of the local socialités.
Closer to Lima Downton you can find Brisas del Titicaca, which combines excellent Andean music live shows and live music for the crowd to dance; or The Brewing Corner, a small yet lively bar where you can have lots of fun drinking and playing pool.
Out of Lima, you may want to visit La Granja Azul, that not only sells an excellent Pollo a la Brasa (roasted chicken) but is also very family-friendly. Remember to take your camera!
