  • You can't discover everything on your own. Sometimes you need a little extra guidance to fully appreciate the attractions of a city. Whether you want to delve deep under the surface or just not have to worry about getting lost, these tours will take care of everything for you.

    You may want to book a photography tour along with locals: Lima Peru offers you this chance. Another possibility are taking a either ride on the Mirabus, or asking for information and routes to Peru Cycling, that can not only make you sightseeing Lima in a different way, but also organize tours to other Peruvian cities.

    Another good source of reliable info on local tours is PromPeru, the national agency in charge of promoting tourism.

    You definitely need to tour the Centro de Lima (Lima Downtown), and either this or any other agency can offer you reasonably priced alternatives.

    Another districts in Lima that you surely need to tour are Chorrillos and Barranco, former summer spots now turned into historical districts; Miraflores, a commercial and residential place, full of shops, restaurants and services; and San Isidro, the financial and garden district.
