Kids may love museums and taking long strolls in an unknown city, but sooner or later they will want to eat, relax and have fun. So in addition to the many varied touristic destinations and must-see spots in Lima, there are plenty of places with services and ideas for kids. Come and see!
Lima has plenty of kid-friendly parks, that also offer some parents-friendly fun opportunities. Bird-watcher families will love to take a relaxing stroll in El Olivar, or to spend the day at the Gran Parque de Lima, that houses some domestic exotic bird species that wander freely among the crowds.
You and your kids will also love the Magic Water Circuit and its huge fountains; or a relaxing ride in an old, traditional house carriage around the Plaza Mayor.
For another kid-friendly city tour, there's the Mirabus, that will also allow you a quick view of Lima Beaches or Costa Verde, that you can also visit anytime.
Zoos are a nice and kid-friendly way to learn about local species, and Lima has two: the Zoologico de Huachipa and the Parque de las Leyendas.
A different alternative is Divercity, the small city where kids can play being citizens.
And for some quiet, relaxing fun, try the cinemas: UVK Multicines or Cinemark Peru.
