• Cala has built itself a reputation as the restaurant that has redefined seafood restaurants in Lima. Located on Barranquito beach, this big yet cozy place also has a nice lounge bar, where you can wait until your table is ready. If it is not drizzling in Lima, you may want to sit on the terrace to enjoy the ocean view: it is protected from the wind, but it is a good idea to take a jacket just in case. Try the Conchitas a la Parrilla or the grilled baby octopus, which is provide a pleasant gastronomic surprise. And remember to order a pisco sour and to ask for the desserts of the day.
