User Review:
- This restaurant actually floats on the river, right where the Nanay River meets the Amazon River. It is a great place to get a delicious meal, especially after visiting one of the scenic locations on the river, like the Bora tribe, the Butterfly House, the Yagua tribe, the Serpentario, Monkey Island, or just a cruise on the largest river in the world, the Amazon River. All of the food is local and usually grilled, like steaks, chicken, local fish like paiche, and all served with golden potatoes and salad. The sauces are exquisite and the location is amazing. The atmosphere is terrific, right on the river, surrounded by the bustling port of Nanay, with kids playing on one side and boats leaving on the other. There is often live music playing and if not, a collection of Iquitos favorite hits is always playing on the stereo. It's definitely a surreal place to have a meal.
