• Opened in 2010, word about its excellent pisco-sours and seafood has spread quickly. And they start from the very beginning: with real fresh fish, caught and brought daily by traditional fishermen from a nice, clean beach in Piura. The whole menu option includes some 50 dishes, so it is very difficult to choose a favorite one, but some good recommendations would be the Mero Murique on Ravioli and Cheese, and the "Tacu Tacu (rice and beans) with Pez Espada (Swordfish). Here, as a unique feature, you can choose the size of your serving, by previously weighg the amount of fish you want. La Taberna de Don Francisco also has some interesting options for dessert, like the Ranfañote, a traditional Limenian specialty that is becoming harder to find each day. The service is good, the staff is friendly and the location will allow you a good view of Lima Downtown. Try also their Lomo Saltado.
