Description:

Niqei restaurant has reinvented the Peruvian-Japanese fusión, with a notable specialty that has become famous in no time: the "Maki Atakutado" –that is, a Tacu-Tacu (rice and beans preparation) based Maki: it also includes Japanese shari, nori weeds, furai crawfish, cream cheese, fried bananas and creole sauce. There are also many different sauces that add an original touch to the makis. But Niqei is a lot more: they claim to be "the Peruvian rebellion of the Japanese fusion", and the large menu offers many exotic alternatives, that reinvent many Peruvian typical dishes, like the rice with seafood, the "carapulcra" and the "manchapecho" with oriental ingredients and sauces. Niqei also offers a wide variety of cocktails, with the niqei-sour as the star of the pisco-based drinks, and an original version of the Cosmopolitan, called "Cosmocholitan". Niqei also has some very good choices for desserts, like the wasabi ice-cream with passion-fruit jelly and chocolate chips, served in a cone.
