Description:
- Located on the east side of the city, near an area known by the wines that were produced there before the houses were built, Tradición Morena is a replica of an eighteenth century farm house, with the same rustic walls, furniture and decorations. The staff is dressed in period clothing from the eighteenth century to replicate the servants who once worked for the owners of the farmhouse. Choose from a variety of local Peruvian and Spanish wines to star your meal off with. In keeping with the secrets of the old recipes of eighteenth century Peruvian cooking, choose from the most traditional dishes such as, which are Chuleta Zamacueca (grilled pork ribs with fried potatoes and salad), Arroz con pollo (rice cooked in cilantro and chili with chicken & onion sauce) and Causa de Pollo (Yellow mashed potatoes with chicken) are served. Finish your meal with some of the deserts of long ago. -Jorge Arevalo
