User Review:
- An adventure is an activity that is perceived to involve risk, dangerous or exciting experiences.[citation needed] The term is often used to refer to activities with some potential for physical danger, such as skydiving, mountain climbing, breaking and entering, committing misdemeanors, and participating in extreme sports. The term also broadly refers to any enterprise that is potentially fraught with physical, financial or psychological risk, such as a business venture, a love affair, or other major life undertakings. Adventurous experiences create psychological and physiological arousal,[1] which can be interpreted as negative (e.g. fear) or positive (e.g. flow), and which can be detrimental as stated by the Yerkes-Dodson law. For some people, adventure becomes a major pursuit in and of itself. According to adventurer André Malraux, in his La Condition Humaine (1933), "If a man is not ready to risk his life, where is his dignity?". Similarly, Helen Keller famously stated that "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." Outdoor adventurous activities are typically undertaken for the purposes of recreation or excitement: examples are adventure racing and adventure tourism. Adventurous activities can also lead to gains in knowledge, such as those undertaken by explorers and pioneers. Adventure education intentionally uses challenging experiences for learning. San Isidro Burrough or 'Distrito' is also called San Isidro International Community, due to the fact of having on its ground most international diplomatic residences and offices, and having been since its foundation a place of good weather and leisure. San Isidro International Community is not the perfect spot por adventure on its life threathenig sense, it is much on the safer side. On the other hand all of Lima is really chaotic with traffic and disrespect for pedestrians or light vehicles, so following a cycling circuit is always on the adventurous though safe side. I will recommend , to make things easier, to get an organized bicycle tour as it is easier to enjoy cycling around when someone leads where to go and one just needs to follow the experienced one. The tour may begin on what is one of Lima´s bicycle exclusive roads, the Ciclovia Salaverry on aristocratic Salaverry Avenue. This avenue´s central lawn is still lined with aging nice trees that cover you from sun in summertime and were originally planted there to shadow the wealthiest when they rode their horses down to the ring.
