Description:
- Founded in 1918 this arm of the Universidad Nacional de San Marcos exhibits the flora, fauna and minerals from different regions of Peru. Many of the specimens on display formerly belonged to the Italian collector Antonio Raimondi, who loved Peru and was a passionate researcher of the country's natural resources. The museum caters to student groups but is also open to the public.
