NileGuide Expert tip:
Try to book Royal Class service.
Description:
- Expreso Internacional Ormeño has the longest route in the region: Buenos Aires-Lima-Caracas, and this is the reason why it has been nicknamed "The Transiberian of the roads."
It offers a pretty good service, and covers most of the main national and international routes in Peru: Cañete, Chincha, San Clemente, Pisco, San Andrés, Ica, Palpa, Nazca, Marcona, Yauca, Chaviña, Chala, Atico, Ocoña, Camaná, Arequipa, Moquegua, Caravelí, Ilo, Tacna, Cusco and Tumbes. Unfortunately, Ormeño's webpage is still under construction so you cannot buy tickets online.
Regarding international services, it connects Lima with Caracas, Cúcuta, Bogota, Cali, Quito, Guayaquil, Santiago de Chile, Mendoza and Buenos Aires. Its best service is the Royal Class, with fully equipped buses and meals. Take note, however, that the buses' cleanness may not be that good in such long trips.
