Description:

Probably the most important zoo in Peru, due to its large animal and botanic collections, and also because of the great number or archaeological remains located within its area: 52 ancient temples more than 700 years old. The main general attraction, however, are the animals; local species are organized in into three areas, representing the coast, the Andes Mountain region and the Peruvian rainforest. There is an area specially created for big felins, and another habitat for aquatic animals. You and your kids can easily spend all the day here: in addition to a large picnic area, there are also several restaurants inside. Open Hours: Mon-Sun 9am-6pm (including holidays). Admission: S/. 5 children between 3 and 12 years old, S/.10 adults (from 13 years old and on).
