Good for beginer surfers

Description:

• Located in Miraflores, this is a small and curve-shaped pebble and stone beach with an exposed reef, and is mostly visited by surfers, bodyboarders and other acuatic sports fans; the average temperature of the water is approximately 17ºC all year round. You will surely find some street vendors, offering you almost anything you may need, from beverages and ice cream to sun block in case you forgot yours, or even swim trunks, specially in summer. There are also some surf schools in the area, in case you want to try a few lessons; a personal instructor may cost you something near S/. 50 (a little less than US $20). This beach is usually quite clean, and is a perfect place for beginners; in fact, most of the local surf champions started their training here. The imposing view of the Miraflores hills from here is impressive, as well as the colorful summer sunsets.
