In 1942, this supermarket started off as just a small shop. It was only in 1980 that its owners, the Wong-Lu family, decided to expand the business. Since the very beginning, Erasmo Wong made a great effort to serve the needs of his customers, delivering their purchases by bicycle to their homes and allowing them to pay their bills in installments. Nowadays, E. Wong S.A. is a huge supermarket chain and one of the most important in Peru, with locations spread throughout the country. Its delivery service now caters to the southern beaches of Lima during the summer season. E.
